Music, movies, learning languages, makeup...they are pieces of my pleasure.
But recently makeup is gradually leaving my pleasure. Because the way of thinking about makeup has changed a little...
When I was un university student, I used to like collecting and trying various makeup products. So I spent a lot of money which I earned by myself (part-time job.) Maybe I was a makeup junkie.
I'm still into RIMMEL LONDON (rimmel london sold in abroad is more attractive than rimmel london sold in Japan), Barry M, and SLEEK. I like reading blogs related to them so much.
But now, I noticed that to collect many makeup products isn't truly pleasure for me. I thought that I should think good ways to use the money.
I think makeup is one of ways to express my personality. So I want to find makeup which is something like me:)

MOVIES I WATCHED IN OCTOBER
フランシス・ハ FRANCES HA (USA, 2012)
It's black and white film.
I was a little irritated with the heroin who is 27 and working at ballet company. Because she is not good at expressing her emotions like ME! But I thought that I want to search the best (or better) way of life like her.
ぶどうのなみだ (JAPAN, 2013)
It's been almost 8 years since I watched Japanese film. 大泉洋 is my favourite actor, so I decided to watch the film.
The film that is set in Sorachi 空知, Hokkaido. But I think there is no realistic.
To be honest I didn't know what the film wants to tell us, but I was filled with warm feelings when I leave the theatre. I've never been to Hokkaido yet, so I want to visit there some time.
I wrote about 365日のシンプルライフ TAVARATAIVAS, スモーキング・ハイ PINEAPPLE EXPRESS and THIS IS THE END on OCTOBER FAVOURITES post. I highly recommend these movies (especially TAVARATAIVAS!):)

MEANINGFUL DAYS OFF
On the 13 and 14 were my days off.
On the 13 I went to efish cafe where is near Gojo-oohashi (it was the third time for me to go there.) I studied for a exam while drinking jasmine-milk tea. I take the exam next January. I have to study more... ugh.
And on the 14, I went to Kyoto Cinema and watched a film called FRANK. I was expecting that it was a comedy film, but it was a little different. Success, allegiance, SNS addiction, stepping outside a comfort zone...I think it was a little complicated story. But there were some scenes that I emphasize with in the film. Anyway, I'm happy to see the film:)
By the way, I thought autumn season has already gone before I knew, but it is still be here. I found autumn in our garden:)
How about around you?

OCTOBER FAVOURITES!
RIMMEL LONDON WONDERFUL MASCARA WITH ARGAN OIL
I'm not a mascara lover, but I like this mascara. It gives clump-free eyelashes and natural/lightweight finish. I don't know how argan oil works to my eyelashes...:p
RIMMEL LONDON BROW THIS WAY IN 002 MEDIUM BROWN
I was no-eyebrows girl when I was a student (junior high school - university), but now eyebrows are one of important parts of my beauty world. This kit contains eyebrow powder, eyebrow wax, a double-ended angled brush and spooley brush. My eyebrows are finished with the kit these days.
RIMMEL LONDON MOISTURE RENEW LIPSTICK IN 770 ODYSSEY BROWN
It's the old version of moisture renew lipstick by rimmel london. Odyssey brown is a reddish-brown colour. I like the colour because it's perfect for autumn season and it suits my original lip colour. And I also like the texture. It's creamy and easy to apply (it's not long-lasting, but it doesn't matter to me.)
RIMMEL LONDON LASTING FINISH NUDE FOUNDATION IN 200 BEIGE
I'm not a fan of foundation. Because sometimes it is a little too heavy and cakey on my skin. But I like the new lasting finish foundation. It's more lightweight than the original lasting finish foundation.
REVLON COLORSTAY SKINNY LIQUID LINER IN 303 MAHOGANY FLAME
It's the thinnest tipped (0.1mm!) liquid eyeliner I've ever used! You can finally achieve the perfect cat-eye look (I should practice more...)! Mahogany flame is a beautiful metallic brown. The pigmentation is pretty good and it stays all day long.
THE SMASHING PUMPKINS 1991-2000 GREATEST HITS VIDEO COLLECTION
It's an amazing collection of the smashing pumpkins's best songs and music videos. If you are a fan of them, it's must have!
THE SMASHING PUMPKINS EARPHORIA
It's a soundtrack to their first home video called VIEWPHORIA. There are a lot of cool stuff! Especially CHERUB ROCK (acoustic version) and DISARM (hard rock version) are very impressive.
スモーキング・ハイ PINEAPPLE EXPRESS
It's an American comedy film written by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, and starring Seth Rogen and James Franco. James Franco was nominated for Golden Glove award for his performance in this film. I think neither marijuana nor violence are good things, but I really enjoyed this film (especially the fight scene at Red's house.)
THIS IS THE END
It's an American disaster comedy film. James Franco, Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill, Danny McBride, Michael Cera, Emma Watson...they play themselves and they are faced with the apocalypse... Maybe some people say it's horrible film, but I like it. I laughed many times and one scene makes me want to eat milky way!
365日のシンプルライフ TAVARATAIVAS
It's a Finnish film. I learnt my life is surrounded by many stuff, but my life isn't made by only stuff which money can buy. I'm happy to see the film.
I skipped September Favourites post, sorry:'(

DISCOVER KYOTO/ JONAN-GU
On September 28, 2014 I visited Jonan-gu 城南宮 with a friend. I had never been there before. Jonan-gu was located in the south of the capital in 794. The deity of Jonan-gu is famous for protecting from four counters (east, west, south and north. 東西南北.) And as it happens, we saw traditional ceremony by 巫女 (Miko, Shrine Maiden.) The shrine is also famous for an event called ''Kyokusui-no Utage 曲水の宴.''
And we enjoyed beautiful gardens: Haru-no-yama, Heian, Muromachi, Momoyama and Jonan Rikyu. I was very impressed and I took a lot of photos! The scent of fragrant olive was amazing. Thank you Elizabeth for taking me there!
As you know, Kyoto gets a lot of tourists (both domestic and foreign countries) every year.
And in Kyoto there are a lot of historical places (shrines, temples, etc) where I haven't been to yet. But I feel like I've been there just because I'm living in Kyoto.
This experience made me feel that I want to explore Kyoto more!
Have you ever been to Kyoto?
