TALKING TO MYSELF (IN JAPANESE)

この前、ちょっと辛いことがあった。辛いことなんてよくあることなんだけど。

その日はひとりになってから、とにかくthe smashing pumpkinsのtodayを繰り返し繰り返し聴いて、いつも通り街をぶらぶらして、スタバに行った。

家に帰ってからSimple SimonのDVDを観ようと思ったけど、貸したままだっていうことに気がついた。

大好きなAlexa ChungのItという本を手にとった。

答えが知りたい、そんな時、疑問に思っていることをGoogleに打ち込んでみるの。

「失恋はどれくらい続くの？」 って検索したことがあるけど、その質問よりも「胸焼けはどれくらい続くの？」って検索している人がもっとたくさんいるみたい。

失恋よりも胸焼けで苦しんでいる人が多いってことはまだマシな気がするわ。だって失恋の悲しみって何度も何度も切なさが逆流してくる最悪の状態だから。

FAVOURITE BLUSHES FOR SUMMER

I get into blushes in this summer. Because they give me a nice healthy glow and colours to my face. I write about my favourite blushes:)

SLEEK BLUSH IN 924 SUNRISE
Sunrise is  a shimmery bronzed- red shade. I think it's perfect for bronzed skin.

SLEEK BLUSH IN 142 ANTIQUE
Antique is a bronzed- mauve with silvery shimmer. It's a little too glittery for my everyday makeup. But it's a beautiful colour.

RIMMEL LASTING FINISH SOFT COLOUR BLUSH IN 080 BRONZE
It's a light bronze shade. I think you can use it both of as a blush or as a bronzer.

CANMAKE POWDER CHEEKS IN PW 16
I wrote about this blush as one of March Favourites. This nable orange blush gives me a fresh bright look instantly.

SWEETS SWEETS VELVET SOUFFLE CHEEKS IN 04 MANDARIN SOUFFLE
It's my first water- based blush. 04 is a milky orange which is perfect for casual makeup look. I like this texture. It stays on my skin without drying.
I guess this blush will be my most wore blush this summer:)

LAZY DAY TAG.

1. What is your lazy day skin care routine ?
I just do the same skincare routine as usual. I wash my face. And I use EAUDE MEDICA SKIN CONDITIONER and SHISEIDO AQUALABEL WHITENING JELLY ESSENCE. I think it's very simple routine. Yes, I'm lazy:)

2. What is your lazy day makeup?
I like to do makeup. So I wear makeup almost days even when I'm lazy. Makeup base and pressed powder are must have! And I like using bronzer as eyeshadow at the moment.
  
3. What is your lazy day hair style?
A messy bum or a messy ponytail. Usually I put my hair up in a messy bum. It's so quick and easy! And now my hair colour looks weird...

4. What is your lazy day outfit? 
T-shirt and sweatpants. As you know, they are very comfortable.

5. What is your lazy day scent?
Usually I don't wear any perfumes on my lazy day. Sometimes I wear body spray/mist. Body shop's body mist smells very lightly.

6. What is your lazy day pampering product/routine?
I usually watch movie DVDs on my lazy day. I like watching foreign films with Japanese or English subtitles:) Current favourite moive is SIMPLE SIMON.

7. What is your lazy day snacky food?
Mujirushi's (無印良品) cracked pretzel:)

8. What is your lazy day drink?
Coffee, tea, sparkling water... It depends what mood I'm in.

THE BODY SHOP HAUL.

Last week it's been a long time since I shopped at the body shop. So I write about that. Maybe this is my first beauty haul!

TEA TREE PORE MINIMISER
I've been using  DEJAVU CONTROL SERUM as a oil control serum under stay matte powder (rimmel) almost everyday. But maybe it's has been discontinued. I can't find this item anymore... So I decided to look for new one instead of it.  And last week I found this TEA TREE PORE MINIMISER at the body shop.

・suitable for blemished skin.
・pore look smaller, skin feels purer.
・smoothes, primes and instantly mattifies.    

This is one of their tea tree range. It's infused with Community Fair Trade organic tea tree oil comes from Kenya.  I love the smell of tea tree. It's not overpowering. This scent makes me feel relaxed.
The texture is very silky and smooth. So it's easy to glide over the skin. And it has a mattifying effect which I like. I'm always suffered from oily skin (especially forehead part.) I use it to my t-zone.
It's 2700 yen (tax included), a little expensive for me. But I think it will be acting as a good makeup base for summer.

VINEYARD PEACH BODY MIST
It's one of Vineyard Peach range which is  limited edition. It has a juicy peach scent...yum yum! It stays on my skin for 1 or 2 hours. I tried peach scented perfume by CANMAKE before. But I didn't like that so much. Because it smells very artificial...

And I got PINK GRAPEFRUIT BODY LOTION and SHOWER GEL for free. They are very fresh scent. I'm I'm looking forward to using them!

RIMMEL BRONZERS!

SUNSHIMMER 3IN1 BRONZER IN
001 GOLD PRINCES AND IN 002 BRONZE GODDESS
These two bronzers came out a few years ago. I remember that I saw them at drugstores in Kyoto. But I wasn't interested in them at that time because I was into the various eye makeup products! And now I decided to try out them because I'm into skin and base makeup products at the moment!
As you can see, these bronzers come in 3 different shades. They give a soft luminous glow.
001 GOLD PRINCES is a lighter golden toned bronzer. And 002 BRONZE GODDESS is a deeper bronze toned bronzer. GOLD PRINCES is more sheer and lighter than 002 BRONZE GODDESS.
At first I thought 002 BRONZE GODDESS is a little darker for my skin. But I prefer BRONZE GODDESS to GOLD PRINCES. I think GOLD PRINCES is perfect for pale skin.
I like to use each the lightest shades as a highlight on my cheekbones. And I like to use these lightest shades on orange/coral blush.
I blend together each 3 shades when I use as bronzer. And you can use them as eyeshadows! I think you can get pretty summer look using them only:) I'm impressed with these bronzers!

SUNSHIMMER BRONZING COMPACT POWDER IN LIGHT SHIMMER
It's a medium toned bronze/brown with shimmer. But it's almost a matte finish.  It adds a natural tan to my face.

I think you'll need brushes to apply them on your face. They don't include brushes.

JUNE FAVOURITES!

CK ONE SUMMER BY CALVIN KLEIN
top notes: grapefruit, lime and juicy melon
middle notes: cocktail of tequila, white freesia and cypress forms
base notes: coconut water, crushed sugar and ceder
This is my first fragrance by Calvin Klein.  I like the packaging. It smells a little citrusy and it's so good coconut and fruity scent for summer.

RIMMEL LASTING FINISH LIPSTICK BY KATE IN 30
It's one of urban bohemian collection by Kate Moss. I really like rimmel lipsticks. The lipsticks by Kate are awesome, too. 30 is a beautiful plum colour.

RIMMEL EYE SHADOW STICK BY KATE IN 100 ROSE GOLD
This colour is perfect for summertime. And it's perfect for hot and sticky days. The fomula is soft and creamy. So it's easy to blend with fingers.

CANMAKE DUAL EYEBROW STICK IN 01 NATURAL BROWN
You can enjoy 3 colours in this 1 pencil. But it's not an eyebrow pencil. It's like an eyeshadow stick.  01 natural brown is good for black to natural brow hair. You can create both of soft and strong eyebrow with it. I like eyebrows of Alexa Chung. But my eyebrows is a little narrow.  And now I'm looking for the best eyebrow shape which suits me...

RIMMEL GLAM EYES HD 5-COLOUR EYE SHADOW IN 022 BRIXTON BROWN
In this eyeshadow palette, there are a very dark chocolate brown, a shimmery champagne colour, a dark brown, a matte taupe brown and a beautiful coppery red. You can create both of daytime look and nighttime look.

MAYBELLINE NEW YORK COLOR TATTOO 24 HR IN 70 METALLIC POMEGRANATE
It's a cream eyeshadow. And metallic pomegranate is a dark plum/purple colour with golden shimmers. The lasting power is amazing. And it blends out beautifully. I think this colour is good for autumn or winter look. And I think it's good for grange look! I know that color tattoo is often compared with paint pot by mac (I haven't used paint pot!)

SIMPLE SIMON(I RYMDEN FINNS INGA KANSLOR)
It's a Swedish movie. What a heart-warming story! I also like songs within a play. TONIGHT by Lykke Li moved me to tears. I don't write about the movie in details because I'm not a film critic. Anyway I really like this movie, so I ordered DVD and Lykke Li's CDs...

GARDEN OF EDEN...

I got this beautiful eyeshadow palette called GARDEN OF EDEN from SLEEK about two month ago. Sleek palette has always been one of my favourites.

gates of eden - a warm toned bright golden shade
eve's kiss - a pinky lilac
paradise on earth - a taupe with metallic finish
python - chocolate brown with metallic finish
forbidden - light taupe with golden glitter
flora - matte brown
entwined - deep taupe with golden glitter
adam's apple - a light matte green
fig - a light metallic golden/olive green
evergreen - a light metallic green
fauna - a metallic green which is a little darker than evergreen
tree of life - a deep matte green

I think these green colours suit brown eyes (my eyes are almost black!)
It's a perfect palette for everyday look.
