DAY OFF.

The day before yesterday I went to an art exhibition of SUDA KUNITARO 須田国太郎.  Do you know him ? I hadn't known his name and his works...

He is an artist of European-style painting ( oil painter.) He was born in Kyoto. He studied and learned art in Madrid, Spain.

I like pictures of animals which he drew. He lived near Kyoto City Zoo 京都市動物園. And it is said that he had gone there many times.

The art exhibition is held in Kyoto Municipal Museum of Art 京都市美術館 till  February 3.

Incidentally, my grandfather was an oil painter, too. He held an exhibition of his works in Florence, Italy :)
I hope you'll come to Fukuchiyama and see his great works !!
